5:16 pm - Poster featuring moi in the new Variety + Vanity Fair!
I'm super excited!!! There is a gorgeous pull out poster featuring the USA Network ad campaign I'm in that was photographed by Marla Rutherford in the latest issue of both Variety and Vanity Fair magazine. For those of you who haven't yet seen the images in either magazine, or the billboards and subway posters in NYC, you can view it here at the USA Network Character Project website.

5:09 pm - I'm on billboards, subway posters, and bus benches in NYC!
OMG check out these photos sent from friends of the billboards and subway posters I appear on for the USA Character Project that are popping up all over NYC. I can't thank Marla Rutherford enough. She's amazing and deserves all the recognition in the world.

1:20 am - I'm in Marla Rutherford's commercial for the USA Network
Check out Marla being awesome in this commercial for the USA Network. I can't thank her enough for including me in this project. I'll be coming out to NYC on the 11th-13th to attend the opening for the exhibition and Vanity Fair party. Hope it isn't too cold...eek. If you freeze it for a sec you can see my photo that will appear in the book and be used for the campaign.

9:54 pm - Vanity Fair magazine/USA Network/the Lenora Doll
Several months ago the amazing Marla Rutherford photographed me for a book USA Network is doing called American Character: A photographic journey . According to the Chronicle Books website the book should be available April 1st and features a forward by Tom Brokaw. Thanks to Marla's talent and perhaps a little luck on my part my photo was chose along with a select few from the book to appear in a traveling exhibition that opens in NYC next month. The event will be hosted by Jeff Goldblum and Mena Suvari and is sponsored by Vanity Fair magazine. I have to admit it's pretty exciting to see my face on the invite. Marla, I really can't thank you enough.

I also recently attended a signing for Tofer Chin's new book Vacation Standards which I also have a photo in. Tofer is the coolest. Here is a cute video and some photos from his signing so make sure to pick up a copy next time you are shopping at Marc Jacobs.

For those of you who are counting I believe I'll be appearing in seven books this year. Not bad! I spent Valentines Day or as they are now calling it Singles Awareness Day interviewing porn stars at the World of Wonder gallery's 25 years of VIVID opening party. I love how all of the media outlets say "not a porn star" under my name. Maybe I should put that on my business card.

In other exciting news artist Spencer Davis has created a Lenora inspired Booty Babe doll. The doll may be a little naughty for livejournal so it's probably best to have you click here and see the entry the delightful Warren Ellis posted about it rather than upload a pic directly. Super cool! Ooh since I'm not sure these will be mass produced you may want to grab the original doll which is up for sale for only $319

9:58 pm - Dinner with Hef at the Playboy mansion
We're barely in to 2009 and already I know this is going to be an amazing year. While the end of 2008 was equal parts dramatic and traumatic, everything about 2009 has been amazing and only appears to be getting better. Right now I'm working on some projects I'm just DYING to discuss but have to wait a little bit so please stay tuned for some major announcements. One of the things I can semi-discuss is a project in the works with OLIVIA. As many of you know getting to pose for her this summer was an absolute thrill for me. Having been a fan of her work since the age of 15 so I never thought I would ever get to be one of her pin-ups let alone get to work on projects and hang out with her and her equally awesome husband Joel. A few days ago they were kind enough to invite me to the legendary Playboy mansion for dinner with Hef and some friends. When I got there one of the first things I noticed is that unlike many places the property is just as impressive as it is on television. The Playboy mansion
While I've been invited to a few big parties at the mansion and was unable to attend for whatever reason, I'm so glad I waited because my introduction to the Playboy experience by Olivia and Joel couldn't have been more special. Not including the staff I would say there only had to be about 15 guests or so milling about the house. So there I was with Joel and Olivia, Hef's brother, one of his close friends who also happened to be an original Mousekateer, some really lovely Playboy writers and photographers, a bunch of beautiful blondes, as well as the man himself...Hef. Having worked in publishing for a few years I have to admit I was completely impressed by the fact everyone involved with the magazine really seemed to care about each other like family. I heard stories sometimes going back as far as thirty years (that's two years older than me if you're counting). Hef was absolutely adorable in his signature smoking jacket and we had a nice moment where he joked about my hair asking if I dyed it for the movie we were about to watch (the original Scarlet Pimpernel. His staff photographer got a photo of us that I'm really hoping to see. My favorite part of the evening had to be getting the private tour of the grounds by Olivia. 11:29 pm - My new webseries DoNUTS
Pretty much anyone who has ever spent more than a few minutes with me knows that my ultimate goal is to do more television. Specifically, my goal is to host a talk/variety show in the vein of Pee Wee's Playhouse meets Space Ghost (there are some animated elements) called Apocalipstick. Right now the show is in development and some AMAZING people are attached but I'm learning that these things can take time. So until I can have the tv show of my dreams I'm going to produce loads of content for the internet and try to reach as many people as possible. The first series I've created for the web is called DoNUTS and will be premiering on World of Wonder's http://www.wowtv.tv/. I'm shooting the first episode on Saturday but here is a little bit of info about the project.

If you have you've probably noticed it's populated with paranoid schizophrenics, conspiracy theorists, and perverts.

So I thought why not go to donut shops in the middle of the night and get to know these colorful creatures better.

5:16 am - Olivia's first study of me
Talk about a dream come true. As someone who lives for art and glamour it's always been a dream of mine to pose for the legendary Olivia Well, that dream came true on Thursday. I can't even begin to explain what an honor it is to be among her amazing group of gals. On top of that I'm truly convinced that Olivia and her husband Joel are the coolest couple ever. Amazing and inspiring! I also have something else really major going on but I don't think I can talk about it just yet.

I'll just say that hard work does pay off:)

7:10 pm - OMG I got mentioned in Variety twice this month
How crazy is it that they totally covered my bday party at the Houdini Mansion that will be featured as part of a five part series on Los Angeles by french tv network Canal Plus. This is my second mention in Variety this month. For someone with a tv show in development this is very exciting;)
